Richard Wright President and Chief Executive Officer
From gridiron warrior at the University of Texas-El Paso to branding champion at Wright's Media, Richard injects intensity and focus into everything he does. After earning his Criminal Justice degree from Sam Houston State University, he joined ASAP Printing before founding Publisher's Custom Reprints in 1992 with his father, Dick Wright. The entrepreneurial bug bit him again in 2003, and he opened Wright's Printing & Marketing to provide production and quality improvements for Wright's Media clients. He currently is on the Board of Directors of the Printing Industries of the Gulf Coast and is a strong supporter of many local charitable organizations, including Star of Hope and Montgomery County Youth Services. Richard resides in The Woodlands, Texas, with his wife Laura and their three children.
Brian Kolb Chief Operating Officer
Brian is the Chief Operating Officer at Wright's Media and commands all sales, licensing, production, and research initiatives. He is a Southern Illinois alumnus who returned to Texas and joined Wright's Media in 2005. Since that time, he has helped Wright's garner many industry awards and transform into an industry innovator. Brian is widely recognized as a generous mentor, effective leader, dynamic speaker, and a marketing tour de force. He has been inducted into the Society of International Business Fellows, is a Top 1% Kred influencer, and has earned his Hubspot Inbound Certification. He has been widely published (Crowdshifter, Publishing Executive, Folio, etc.), and his frequent blog posts are eagerly anticipated.
Brian enjoys cigars and Texas country music. You can find him conversing with thought leaders on Twitter, making clever, punchy comments on Facebook and sharing his latest grilling masterpieces on Instagram.
Scott Barnes Chief Financial Officer
Scott has over twenty-five years of broad corporate and financial consulting experience. He graduated from the University of Missouri - St. Louis and is a certified public accountant. Scott has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, business strategy, and negotiations.
He has worked for several large corporations such as Quanta Services, Dynegy, and PricewaterhouseCoopers where he led and participated in several acquisitions. His duties also included the creation and implementation of strategic initiatives. With his innate ability to identify business opportunities and navigate through acquisition and start-up processes, Scott is an asset both to Wright's and our clients.
Lori Birdsong Controller
Lori attended North Harris County College and has been in the accounting field for over 30 years, first with a dental practice and later for a family-owned HVAC company. She started with Wright's Media back in 2002 and was the sole company accountant for many years. In 2012 Lori was promoted to Controller, assuming responsibility for both Wright's Media and Wright's Printing & Marketing. During her tenure, annual sales have jumped from $360,000 to over $18 million, and she was honored as “Employee of the Year” for 2012. Currently, Lori directs accounting for all four Wright's corporate entities. In her off hours Lori enjoys reading, scary movies and TV shows, backyard cookouts, and supporting her children in their bowling leagues and tournaments.
Brett Petillo Sales Manager
With nearly twenty years of sales and management experience, Brett has demonstrated skill at consistently closing sales and driving exponential growth at his previous employers. He has served as a project manager, branch manager, vice president and has also owned successful businesses. As Sales Manager at Wright's, Brett is now focused on replicating this success through training and mentoring his staff on sales goals, client service, salesmanship, closings, and using sales data to its full potential. Brett has a B.A. in Communications from the University of Southern California and a graduate degree in Theology and Biblical Studies from the Phoenix Seminary. In addition, he is an ordained Pastor and was once a candidate for the Arizona House of Representatives. Brett is married with two children, enjoys coaching youth sports, and serving the community.
Eddie Woodward Director of Business Development
After earning a B.B.A in Management from the University of Houston, Eddie became Account Manager at Marimon Business Systems and excelled. He was awarded two President's Club titles (and trips), and because of his sales prowess also earned multiple Sales Representative of the Month and Quarter awards. Currently, Eddie is Regional Sales Manager at Wright's Media. His primary responsibility is to service existing business and developing new business within the publishing industry. This effort includes attending industry trade shows and developing relationships with publishers. Originally from Chicago, Eddie and his wife Macy live in The Woodlands with their son and enjoy weekends at the pool, community activities, and traveling. He is a huge sports fan, a tech-geek, and is into real estate.
Brittni Castilaw Marketing Director
Brittni graduated from Lamar University with a B.B.A. in Marketing and a B.A. in Spanish. Her first job out of school was for a major international airline, but then she moved into the energy industry (it’s Texas, right?) to be a marketing analyst. A data-driven marketer who uses the information gathered as the foundation for innovative client strategies, Brittni was hired by Wright’s Printing & Marketing in 2013 to handle digital marketing. After winning an AMA award for content marketing strategy, she was promoted to Marketing Director of Wright’s Media.
Brittni is from a small town in southeast Texas, and currently lives in Conroe with her husband and two dogs. She enjoys playing the piano with her church band and driving her Jeep through the mud.
Ashley Peterson Creative Director
Ashley graduated from Sam Houston State University with a BFA in Advertising/ Graphic Design. She has worked for various agencies and is proficient in graphic and web design. Ashley leads our creative team and oversees all printing and design projects.
She not only spearheads the design of websites but she also manages the implementation and development of other digital assets such as mobile websites, apps and our web-to-print solution.
Wyndell Hamilton Account Manager
From a small East Texas town to his graduation from Stephen F. Austin State University, Wyndell is Texas to the core. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology, he worked for the university before becoming a full time Pastor for 14 years. In 2012, he joined Wright's inside sales team and found his new passion while experiencing great success. Currently, as Account Manager Wyndell works with publishers to grow existing business by identifying unique branding opportunities. His understanding of the publishing business regularly manifests itself through new client programs. Outside of his professional life, Wyndell and his wife LeeAnn are active in The Woodlands/Oak Ridge community and have two children.
Stephanie Levine Account Manager
Stephanie has a B.F.A. in Photography from the School of Visual Arts in New York City, and an Intellectual Property Law Certificate from NYU. She has had a number of increasingly responsible positions in business development, and currently is an Account Manager for Wright's Media in New York City. Throughout her career, Stephanie has consistently met and exceeded sales targets and been in the top 5% of company performers. She has also won awards such as being named to the Million Dollar Club. Her specialty is licensing images for stock photography companies and working with clients on third party rights for their advertising campaigns. At Wright's, Stephanie works with publishers to create logo programs and monetize their assets. She is married to Marc Levine (Chief Photographer for the New York Mets) and has a teenage daughter currently in high school. Beside photography, Stephanie loves the beach, movies, creating photos, entertaining, and baking, and is active in many charities.
